Got a knock on the door 10 minutes ago. The new property owner, Mike!
I signed a new lease. In my name. He is raising the rent $50.00 a month. He said eventually he will get the rent up to 650 a month, but he has no plans on developing for now. He said he owns a lot of parks.
He seemed like a really cool guy too. Good looking guy about my age.
So that's so great!
I told him, I expected that if this place was sold that we would have to be kicked out because of the value of this land. He said I don't know why they gave the eviction notice - and that eventually the place might be developed, but it could be a long time.
So all is good for now. I feel so relieved!

Interest rates are climbing. Daughter and son-in-law just bought a house in Meridian for their daughter. Their and her name is on the mortgage, at a little over 6%. Still going up. The window for buying unless you have cash is closing. For a while.

I got out of the AF in '79. Was going to school and working part time. Wanted to buy a house in '81 and found the interest rate at 18%. Forget that. Went back in the AF.

I'll find something for sale by owner and put a good down payment with owner carry. I've already seen several. This is going to be a great time to buy pretty soon. Foreclosures and people/banks needing to unload.

Well it's been a good day so far. After I sign that lease in my name I went to buy a chorizo burrito at Tam's. Oh my God. That's literally 3 lb. I ate like an eighth of it and put the rest away.
Now I've got to lie down and rest my tits for a bit.
