“All Russian threats during the Istanbul talks were rejected. Ukraine insists on a full and unconditional ceasefire to save lives and provide a solid foundation for diplomacy. We are ready for a 30-day ceasefire, agreed with our partners, and open to extending it. We’re also… https://t.co/Wcyj4pWD9l— NOELREPORTS \ (@NOELreports)

  • What a shitty society.

  • Interesting Russian article on the war.

Axios: After speaking with Putin, Trump told Zelensky & EU leaders that Russia is “ready” for talks — but the U.S. won’t join and sanctions aren’t needed because “Putin wants a deal.”

  • The EU has approved its 17th sanctions package against Russia, targeting nearly 200 shadow fleet ships.

New measures also address hybrid threats and human rights.

More sanctions on Russia are in the works.

The longer Russia wages war, the tougher our response.

    * “Memorandum instead of ceasefire.”

    * “Moscow continues to oppose a comprehensive ceasefire until a compromise is found…we’re talking about Ukraine making the compromises.” #ReadingRussia pic.twitter.com/i9IdnOgGdl

  • "Putin’s adviser: “The USSR legally still exists,” and the war with Ukraine is an “internal process”

Anton Kobyakov, an adviser to Putin, claimed that the collapse of the USSR was allegedly carried out with violations, since the union was not dissolved by the same body that created it — the Congress of People’s Deputies. Therefore, in his view, the USSR still “legally exists.”

On that basis, Kobyakov describes the war in Ukraine not as an international conflict, but as an “internal process.”

This statement echoes the ideas of the “USSR citizens” cult, whose members refused to recognize the Russian Federation, didn’t pay taxes or utility bills, and claimed to live in the Soviet Union. In 2022, Russia’s Ministry of Justice declared the group extremist.

  • Kim Jong-un rages at 'careless criminals' as 5,000-ton North Korean warship capsizes and SINKS in front of his eyes in launch disaster

    Best Korea FTW

"A launch ceremony for a new North Korean naval destroyer went horribly wrong in front of 'supreme' leader Kim Jong Un, according to state media.
Kim watched on in horror as the 5,000-ton ship was severely damaged after failing to launch properly.
He declared the mishap a 'criminal act caused by absolute carelessness' that 'could not be tolerated'.
Kim has ordered the destroyer to be restored before a June party meeting, according to the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
The outlet confirmed that during the ceremony on Wednesday 'a serious accident occurred'.

In a statement KCNA said: 'Due to immature command and operational negligence, the parallel movement of the bogies could not be guaranteed, resulting in the launching sled in the stern detaching first and causing the ship to capsize.

'The ship's balance was destroyed due to a rupture in the hull in some sections, and the bow section was unable to detach from the keel.'

Kim was less than impressed by the blunder, saying: 'This is a serious accident and criminal act that could not have happened and could not be tolerated due to pure carelessness, irresponsibility, and unscientific empiricism,' the agency reported."

  • This sounds very Russian...

The new commander of the Russian Army's ground forces, General (***) Andrei Mordichev.

Mordichev commanded the 8th Army at the beginning of the war, the army that united the armies of the separatist republics in eastern Ukraine at the beginning of the war.

He was later promoted to Commander of Central Command in the Russian Army in 2023, and commanded the campaign at Avdeevka and later the campaign towards Pokrovsk.

Mordichev is considered one of the main drivers of the use of infantry tactics, and he is especially hated by the soldiers and junior officers in the field for this reason.

His appointment as commander of the ground forces will likely only further expand the use of the Khadap infantry in the Russian army.

Soldiers and commanders from other cliques in the Russian army claim that Mordichev has "kill immunity," meaning that the Ukrainian army is trying not to actively kill him - since his tactics are causing the deaths of a large number of Russian soldiers.

This opinion was formed after at least 3 cases in which immediately after he left the command, the Ukrainians bombed the headquarters and hit all the other staff officers there, including two of his lieutenants who were killed.
