A guy I worked with in the oil field lives near San Antonio and echoed what others have said here. EMS has cried wolf so much that warnings are mostly ignored now.
Gotta be a better way to monitor river levels and rainfall totals.

Could the Saharan dust be ‘seeding’ the clouds?
I’ve been seeing the reports of dust clouds swirling over North America for about a month.
Just putting it out there.

The event was a result of remnant moisture from Tropical Storm Barry.

Saharan dust does seed clouds but not over tayhass. The Bahamas and Eastern Florida. That's it.
