Meanwhile, the Mennonites are still dying from the measles, in 2025, because they're anti-vax.
-
Minnesotans? Blue shitholers. Invader lovers. Mudslime lovers. Nigger lovers.
Fuck'm.
-
There'd be more, but they don't believe in vaccinations.

Who's dying from measles? It's a rare thing to happen

Who's dying from measles? It's a rare thing to happen
Two grde school age kids in Texas died from measeles. There were hundreds infected. After better than 6 months they finally declared the outbreak over when no new cases showed up in 6 weeks.
While I have no issue with folks objecting to the covid vaccines, the other childhood vaccines are another subject entirely. A few diseases considered eradicated are starting to show up. Personally I am waiting for a polio outbreak thanks to millions of unvaxed 3rd world illegal aliens and the folks objecting to all vaccines here.

The reality is that the gigantic drop in mortality and virus seriousness PRECEDED the rollout of vaccines.

Who knew Reiner acting as meathead, wasn't really "acting".

Viruses naturally mutate to become less deadly.
-
The problem with covid, the death counts, mask efficacy, vaccine efficacy and the natural process of virus mutations/herd immunity is that the entire thing has been politicized and cut into two polar opposed sides. Each side has an extreme (and unrealistic) view and everyone is pushed to get on one side or the other.
The actual truth is lost somewhere in the middle, and it's impossible to gauge anything because everyone is lying about it to support their end of the stick.
-
Viruses naturally mutate to become less deadly.
Natural selection favors infectivity.
The mutations aren't naturally inclined to infectivity, they're random.
Examples of virii that became more deadly over time include flu a, myxoma, h5n1, h7n9, and the hiv.
The only condition that has to be satisfied is continued spread after the initial host is dead.
-
I didn't mask. I didn't avoid going out. I got covid probably three times. The third time it was a cold.
Covid was a compliance test. I failed.

mRNA tech has become politicized. They're making huge advances in cancer treatments with it. Not just treating it, but massive improvements in preventing recurrence. Since it's polarized beyond rationality the research is just leaving America and gets done elsewhere.
-
The first time was December 8th 2019. Before the brouhaha
That was the worst cold I've ever had.
-
I'm in an SC jail right now, EVERYONE is wearing a mask (was told it's encouraged, but not mandatory. Dude handed me one as I was signing in. "No, that thing (blue paper) stopping a COVID molecule is like a BB rolling down the middle of a 6 lane highway"
-
Where's Beej? Who are you? Why are you so wise in the ways of science?
-
I had already decided if they ordered me to wear a mask. I was going to refuse and leave. I think what it is is the utter fucking stupidity. Anybody who wears one of those masks has not read a single fucking sentence about covid has no idea, just utterly fucking uncurious
