Would you live in China if everything you needed was there? If the weather and the beaches and the people were great? There's a lot going on there too and I'm sure it's interesting.
Memes, cartoons, jokes.....yeah, with the assholes currently in charge of government we all need a laugh.

I can pee off my porch though, and that makes it all worth it.
yup

No, I would not live in China. I hate Chinese culture and it's a shit country. Everything would be foreign to me.
You think that's an apples to apples comparison? lol. Nice try.
I like where I live and I don't really care what anyone else thinks about it. It's a nice place to live.

That's pretty much EXACTLY how citizens of other states view Kali. They hate Kali culture, view it as a shit place (like shit on the sidewalks of the SFO Tenderloin). Most everything is foreign except for fast food chains. Certainly the socialist ideas.

See above.

I'm happy that you have found a small niche where you enjoy the area. It's exactly that, though. A small niche. At the moment, your ox isn't being gored.
However, there's a reason why Kali (and New York) are the two states that had the highest number of citizens leave for a better place to live, Kali being number one of course. There's a reason you see "Don't Californicate My ________" bumper stickers in the states that have the highest influx of Kali migrants. The most common complaint is that the Kalis bring Kali with them, or perhaps that they don't stay in Kali, LOL. They flee the disaster they created and then try to recreate that disaster in the new place.
But it is good that you are content. I really am happy for you.
-
Lol. Do you think anybody cares what people in other states think of California?
Besides, you asked me if I would live in China. What I thought of living in China. And I told you.
California is in the United States. There's not some huge fucking culture change that happens as soon as you cross the border.
-
Well of course not! Because Kali is always the best and always right and every other place needs to be like Kali. Google up something like why do people hate Californians. The answers are all pretty much the same no matter what source/thread you pick.
Kali is like going to a foreign country for a lot of other people in the US. Vastly different culture, as seen by the laws, politics and policies. Again, it's why Don't Californicate My (state) bumper stickers exist.
But as I said, I'm glad you are happy there.

Texans are the WORST when when it comes to self-congratulations. EVERYTHING is bigger and better in Texas. Just ask a Texan.
-
Gina, you think TX is ugly? Try driving through almost all of New Mexico.
-
I've been through some of New Mexico, but not too much. Was on Santa Fe and that was pretty. I love the Southwest - especially Arizona.
-
Head south of Santa Fe towards the central and southern 2/3rds of the state. Makes west TX look like a garden.
-
No offense to any of you guys... But half of my problem with Tx is the people. They're like Ohio people. But worse. I'm sure none of you are like that.

Oh to be sure, the only thing bigger than TX in the state is the ego of a lot of Texans, almost all of which have done zip to be proud of. Thing is you get out of the big cities and you find more normal folks and a hell of a lot less crime.

Alaska is MUCH larger than Texas. In fact, it dwarfs it. You want to move out of the city and away from the morons, move to Alaska.

My cousin lived in Alaska for a long time.

My cousin lived in Alaska for a long time.
I lived there for about 4 years and I loved the hunting and fishing opportunities. I should have stayed there, staying would have likely saved me a lot of grief.
