California's Governor, if you recall me saying, said that he opposes temporarily removing the 51 cent California gas tax . He said he prefers to pay out money. A few days later they said they wanted to send out a 400 dollar check to everyone, regardless of wether or not they drive.

I don't think that is a question anybody here is qualified or has a clue in answering. It is a national security issue and in times of war it is best for those in charge of National Security to go with the best possible strategy for the success of the USA. Biden and previous Presidents are just the face on the national security puppet that announces these things when the decision is made.
Should Kim Kardashian have a shrimp salad or a cobb salad for dinner? This might be a better question to ask.

No shit costs are handed down to consumers.
But people who work on the road and drive many miles are getting fucked the hardest. Yet they're giving money out to everybody. All they have to do is just remove the gas tax for a little while and that would be a good place to start.
The exact wrong thing to do is to print more money and give another stimulus package out to everybody.
I don't mind paying the gas. I don't like it but I don't mind it. I do mind my tax money being doled out to losers who don't even work.
