My wife got a call from her employer this morning to tell her that a co-worker/friend and her son were the victim of an apparent murder/suicide by her husband. The authorities are attempting to let everyone know who was aquatinted with them before the story is released to the press. My wife is an absolute mess and I don't know how to help her. She says she doesn't know if she'll be able to go back to work. This is one of those things that you just don't expect to happen to someone you know.
Quite Possibly The most Horrific Thing We've Experienced

Oh man. I'm so sorry. That's a horrible, horrible thing.
-
Jesus. WTF is wrong with people.
-
Victims of the unfettered leftism that is rending the societal fabric.
There are no words of comfort.
-
My wife's friend, her 13 year old son, her invalid mother and one sick mother fucker.

Even in such a horrible scenario you can't simply chalk it up to one horrible individual.
Internal familial dynamics come into play.
These examples make for useful cautionary tools to instruct your own on that care that needs to be given in the selection of a mate.
Don't allow this tragedy to go to waste.

How awful...So sad.
-
How are you guys doing today sluggish?
-
She had to go in to work. I can't imagine. Did I tell you guys that I'm working from home now?
-
I feel so badly for her. I don't know how they could expect her to go to work. They're fucked.
We had a girl that worked here before me that committed suicide after her husbands left her. People here still can't talk about it because it's so hard,
She absolutely needs to have some time before going back to work. This is too traumatic. Those people should understand that.
I knew you gave the man your notice. What are you doing now from home?
-
oh.. and are you hiring??
-
No.. I think it's good that they go to work. They will have grief councillors and they will get through it together. My wife want the only one who was her friend.
-
I'm sorry to hear this, my condolences to you and your wife.
-
How did it go at work for her today sluggish?
-
That's terrible, sorry to hear that.
