I hope so. I want to sell electronic widgets and He's doing exactly what I want to do only with fish stuff.

I hope so. I already looked at this thread and saw "I"m making this for my Youtube videos." and thought it was just another music video compilation and went to the next thread. I can be slow sometimes.

Thanks for posting it, I already Googled you and found it. I am impressed...really.

I design electronics, maybe you have some ideas I can help you with. I'm already thinking of stuff.

Wow again! I've already watched two videos and gone to your web site.

I have a few hundred questions. This is really cool. I always wanted to have a Youtube

channel but I just don't seem to be able to get started.

Wow, I got all excited there for a moment. I thought your fish bait was....well lets say

I started reading to figure out what it was. I have new respect for you Elf. I have a Cannon EOS Rebel T6i and I can hardly turn it on. You talk about that ISO FBI CIA stuff

like you really know what you're doing. Is it ok if I ask you and gina dumb questions now and then?

    Dam, that's pretty profound.

And coincidentally "god doesn't make mistakes" is a book written by an evangelical conservative transgender.

    Pretty wild.

Laurie Suzanne Scott. Wow I Googled it and found the book! Thanks Redwing! I'm going to order it tonight.

Wayne always uses his own words. Very intelligent, kind man.

Wayne - now tell me how cute I am again!

    :blacksmile

Mary has given me a special dispensation to flirt with you all I want. Cute just doesn't

cover it! I saw your boob pics and voluminous would still be an under statement!

I have always said that you have the soul of a woman. God doesn't make mistakes but He does make opportunities. I saw the opportunity to make you my friend and I grabbed it and I am glad I did.

The honest no bullshit reality of it is that the entire system is so full of corruption it is unsavable. Dems, Repups, indys, there's not 2% of politicians at the national level that give one rat's ass about "their" constituent. Their sole purpose is to increase their wealth and retain their position. They mearly give the illusion that they are "for the people". And we're given the illusion that are votes count.

Very well said! There is a part of me that agrees 100%. And there is a part of me that

is uneasy about the idea that it is "unsavable" because that means violent revolution is the only way to resolve the problem. It also leads to a place where you ask yourself "If this is true then why vote at all."

I've thought about this a long time. I realized that being "sold out" in the old days didn't bother me so much because the politician got a decent price for me. There was a time when ear marks and programs and bridges to no where were the primary currency of your local representative. It was his job to go the DC and "bring home the bacon". I didn't like the system then but I didn't realize the unintended consequences of taking it down. A fat cat would go to a politician and say "I want this...." and the politician would say "I can get it for you, but you have to give me something I can take home and run on." That usually meant jobs or some kind of value the common person would consider worth while.

Now....the only thing politicians have to run on is social issues. Social issues are important but they dominate us now, they divide us in a whole different way. They make us into enemies.

I am favor of trading the corruption of the present for the corruption of the past.

The argument against voter ID is weak. But implementation has hazards as well. It should be the state's obligation to process this ID without charge. It should also be the state's obligation to keep voting from being unduly difficult. In a simpler time, if you were bed ridden you could contact the county and they would send someone out to take your vote. Times are more complicated.

ANY thing used in the process of voting that gives an advantage to one side or the other is UN-American. Reforming the system to level the playing field is difficult because it requires the States to give up part of their power. States on both sides don't like to give up power.

The truth is, the body of people that never vote is enough to sway any election. If you are in power and you piss these people off you are in trouble. MY electric bill suddenly almost doubled because of the Republicans siding with the energy industry instead of the people over the winter event last year. This increase is said to be a 30 year process.
Not just my bill, every business, every person, even every Church is effected. It's like having inflation increased by 2 points in a single day. It would be ironic that the State would switch from Republican to Democratic on this issue alone but it is possible.

Imagine the political landscape where NY, Calf., and Texas were all Democratic.

There's a lot of people with whom I do not agree yet I like them.

There are no people promoting ideas that are destroying this country that I like. Period. I see those people as enemies of the Constitution.

I doubt you would like me at all. I see things pretty much as good vs evil. I won't compromise that to go along with the crowd seeking acceptance.

    Like Trump.

What's the real American story? (The mob, the rot, the benevolent community, the triumphant individual) - a political editorial by Robert Reich*

    * What do you think? Try not to make it all about me. ;)

Spoken like a true academic. Reich is interesting but it will take an entire semester to digest what he says enough to have an opinion. This is my observation. The ones in power lie to stay in power. The ones out of power tell the truth to build credibility.

It just keeps going back and fourth. Nixon created the EPA. Clinton left the country

so close to having the National Debt under control you could taste it. Carter turned off the Christmas lights at the White House. What they ran on and what we remember

    is a mixed bag.

I find Arlo easy to get along with. The standard for polite political discourse is so low now days Arlo looks like a Sunday School teacher to me. I'm not overwhelmed, I'm just observant. I don't have to agree with every thing Arlo believes to like him.

    I might even like you.

The Ministry of Truth is here...

(wayne5 slowly backs away from GeeEss...doesn't want to get investigated by the FBI.)

    "I told you guys."

"That's why i immediately followed your lead."

    Oh yes, I get it.

There is so much I can't even start to address it all. So I will just take a slice and address that.

"I arrived at that conclusion by years of media research. That is the narrative that the left wants to portray. You know the one, the one that states that everyone on the right = guns, bibles, KKK, Hitler, Trump, homophobic, anti-immigrant....."

    wayne5:

David Pakman....I've watched him, he gives his opinion like hundreds of vlogers

on the left and right. He defines the Right his way and has the right to do it and you have the right to complain about it.

The Right is a coalition not a single unified group, but in that coalition are groups of people that strongly advocate for all of the things you listed.

Another narrative the left uses is that the right started being un-trusting or "conspiratorial" with the JBS. That isn't true. The term "conspiracy theory" was coined by the CIA as a pejorative against the people who questioned the Warren Report. It was an actual CIA operation to gaslight and Marginalize the American people. That whole JBS bullshit is 1) an opinion based on a bias, and 2) an attempt to gaslight people and 3) it is an arbitrary starting point.

    wayne5:

I'll take you word for where the phrase came from. But marginalizing people by using gas lighting is boiler plate for both sides. The phrase may not have existed

in 1947 at Roswell but it still happened. It's a really good topic for debate, the unintended consequences of actions taken by the intelligence community.

Now I do want to apologize to you. My previous post was made out of genuine shock and amazement that anyone would watch David Pakman or post him as some kind of authority.

    I apologize"

    wayne5:

Good for you. It actually makes me feel a little better about you. I've been posting here for years and I don't recognize most of the people but I recognize you. For a while it was me and GG and 52 and that's all. We talked to each other.

Finally...thank God.....yesterday I watched the video I will post at the end. I watched it so I could understand Marjorie Taylor Greene. She's been complaining about the way she's been treated and the video didn't make me think the media was unfair because if you don't like being treated like a crazy asshole stop acting like one. But it did show me that she could be thoughtful and even more important....RIGHT if she wants to. She believes if there is something to be voted on that people should actually be there and actually vote and I agree. In my state there was/is a similar problem reported on by the media that had a video of people voting for other people. The Republican answer was to ban video cameras in the gallery. Being right isn't everything, you need to understand the ones you disagree with.

Foot note: I was being charitable about the apology...Arlo is right.

We were 60 feet under water and I don't think we had the underwater camera at the time. Later I had a video camera I took with us. Divers go in a line on the reef and I wanted Mary to be in front so I could video her but the way it worked out was I got hours of her butt. I will see what I can do.

No contacts. They are all retired or dead....mostly dead. I never expected to live this long, I thought I would have been eaten by a large animal by now. I'm fearless only because I'm not smart enough to be afraid. I laid down next to a sleeping 13ft. shark once just to be able to measure accurately how big he was. (yes, sharks do sometimes sleep)
