The carrier fights were always the best part of the game. Then some doofus would sink the boat.

I’m sure you know to be careful of fumes when melting lead, correct?

Exactly what's needed. I bet Eric will quickly find the best way to get your ice cream right to the highest density population areas of Mars. You'll be fabulously wealthy!

AH-HA! They've got him now! Rogan is DONE!

Just raggin' ya. I know they'll get done eventually and they'll be perfect. Pope Julius II didn't rush Michelangelo on the Sistine Chapel.
Oh...he probably did...but anyway... do it when you feel it.

Ah, of course! Coercion. You MUST be vaxxed! I can't wait till they try to herd me into the unvaxxed concentration camp. <EG>

Every soldier does. It's what defines a soldier. Risking his or her life to protect others.
But it's complicated, and that complexity is hitting me hard right now.
Machinegunning one people in favor of another.
Like a torque wrench, a machine gun is just a tool.
But someone has to apply that torque.
All true. Ideally, soldiers machinegun the bad guys to save the good guys. That's where it gets complicated. Soldiers don't get to decide who is good and who is bad. The old saying is "If you take the king's shilling, you do the king's bidding." When you take the oath, you become subservient to those over you; you agree to obey orders unquestioningly.
All fine and dandy when the political leadership are men of honor and morality. All fine and dandy when the "bad guys" have shown themselves to the world as unquestionably evil; see Adolph Hitler.
Unfortunately, things are rarely black and white in our times. It's often a case of evil vs evil and politicians declare one side somewhat less evil than the other and send in the troops. The troops obey because they swore to do so and their own sense of honor obligates them to do what is ordered. Seeing evil on both sides leads to the problem.
QuoteArcane has bothered me for weeks now, and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. It has grabbed me by the heart and wrenched it.
I'm sorry for laying this on you people, but I don't know where else to put it right now.
I don't know what Arcane is; you'd have to explain. As far as talking it out, go for it. I took the King's shilling but I was an unarmed recon pilot. I didn't have to pull the trigger on anyone. I had no trigger. There were times when I seriously had problems with the leadership about what they wanted me to do but...I think the statute of limitations has expired.

They are bringing us together by segregating the vaxxed from the unvaxxed. Let's Go Brandon!
You all have seen the infant that has been denied heart surgery because the infant's parents were not vaxxed, right?

Don't forget. At the beginning they would not even TRY to fight covid with any drug at all. It's still pretty much that way now that they canned the monoclonals.
I asked my Doc what they would do if I had a positive test. He said just go home and see what happens. When you can't breathe, come to the hospital and we'll put you on a ventilator.
Basically, that's a recipe for killing someonw.
Again I ask how many could have been saved with Ivermectin or Hydroxy or both? There were protocols for those out there by FLCCC and others that had success with actual treatment of covid.
In my mind, the government and health care organizations murdered a lot of people.
