The last time I really had trouble at the post office was when I took a package in to be dropped off. They scanned it in as dropped off at the post office and then somehow rescanned it as immediately delivered to a PO box. I didnt know it happened until 2 days later I get notified by ebay that someone filed a complaint against me for a missing package. They seen it was instantly delivered after acceptance so they were trying to scam me to get their money back. Common sense being that it is physically impossible to cross 7 states in 2 days but they still tried to get their money back. It took a couple of days to finally get the tracking straightened out. The worst part is that my side of the tracking shows wrong but the internal postal tracking was correct in showing that it was enroute like it should be. Hard to explain that to someone when their and my proof of the tracking number showed up wrong. It finally made it and they retracted their complaint, but the post office mistake almost cost me. All I got out of it was "too bad we made a mistake and your tracking is screwed up"

If I can shove it in the mailbox and close the lid, she will pick it up every time. I bought the largest mailbox that I could find just for putting packages in to be picked up and she gets them every time. But if you have a package that qualifies depending on what shipping type you used, you can go to the usps website and request a free carrier pickup. You can select it so that they can come to your door and pick it up. I have had that done a number of times for larger packages. She will do it if she is requested to. I have a large tote that I will just put it in and she collects it.

I also sell on ebay buy I have them come to the house to pick it up. I only take it to the post office if it needs to go out that day and they have already been by the house
