Sure... The takeaway is in the subtext. Russel Brand and Tucker Carlson each began at opposite ends of the political spectrum and through self-reflection and awareness have allowed their own perspectives to grow and morph into a commonality of goodness and "rightness"; two completely different men have allowed themselves to be drawn to a common conclusion that cannot be denied.

That is well said - a very accurate description IMO.

    Done.

Beautiful, well, well done sir. I rode an Ultra Classic back in 2007 from Calgary AB right out to PEI (Prince Edward Island, it's well East of Quebec, and almost as far to the East side of Canada you can go, other than Newfoundland, which is to be avoided at all costs as it's full of...Newfies). Part of the time I'd have a passenger, there were17 bikes on that little trip, and my friend's 9 year old son would ride shotgun with me to give his dad a break sometimes.

Anyhow, the large HD bikes as such were a lot easier to handle than I thought they'd be even at lower speeds/stopped/backing up/etc. It was a dream at 75 MPH where we spent the majority of our time. I imagine now with all the new tech and creature comforts like nav/stereo/communication/phone and such make them an even better highway bike.

I had a chance to buy an HD trike for a screaming cheap deal from a family friend's estate when he passed 2 years ago, and if I had known I'd shatter my right lower leg bones into powder 7 months later one, I would have so I could ride it now. I'm not on the lookout for one, but if another such deal walked across my crosshairs, I'd press the trigger in an instant.

I think we have the same TV

I wouldn't doubt it, it was "the" go to Plasma back when I bought it, we also bought the 42" version at the time for our bedroom. Gave that away to an aunt who needed a tv and who doesn't have much $ years ago, but kept the 50" around as a tv we use while in the hot tub (it's a contained room with a sliding door/roof panel). Great units though, very solid, and the fact that our 50" is still chugging along 15 years later+, while being wheeled around on a stand and outside in our hot tub attached deal...

Been looking at the 83" LG OLED, our home theater room has a roughly 100" screen, and the gear is getting a bit long in the tooth. The audio stuff is still more than serviceable and sounds great. The cost for the 83" isn't exactly cheap, but it's a lot cheaper than getting a comparable projector IMO, and while a smidge smaller than our screen currently, it'll more than make up for it in terms of picture quality. I saw one on demo and was very very impressed.

Crazy how used we've become to large TV screens. I remember vividly in 1997 buying a 36" TV, and I was the most popular place for my group of friends and co workers for movie/sports nights. Watching Aliens and Star Wars on laser disc, we all thought we had our own little movie theater. Now 36 isn't even large for a PC monitor, and back then a 21" Viewsonic or Optiquest was the big man on campus for monitors. 21. Hahaha.

We have a 50" 600mhz Plasma, Panasonic, that is still working too, bought it in 2008 IIRC. Plasma look better than regular LED/LCD, not as good as OLED, but in the dark, IMO, nothing touched the Plasmas. I wish they still made them, but they cost exponentially more to make than LCD/OLED.

I figured out you can override the 4 hour Alienware pixel refresh, and tons of guys on reddit/etc have had the same unit for over a year and just let it do the refresh when you log out (going into sleep/whatever mode, the monitor will automatically do the pixel refresh with the new firmware I just installed. YAY). It truly looks astonishing compared to even the best 4k LCD gaming monitors I have and have had. They are coming out with a 4k OLED version of this same unit shortly, and that'll be the cat's PJs. Even at 1440p on a 34", it looks far superior to my 27" 4k which is a great monitor on its own (was voted best gaming monitor regardless of $ by every reviewer out there for a couple years straight, until this Alienware OLED came out).

I hope Trump doesn't pick Lake as VP also - this need to pick a minority or woman for VP that some even on the right (ie normal) side of politics is for the birds IMO.

I still wonder what a Tucker Carlson VP nom would look like. Tucker was here in Canada (Calgary, part of the real/normal Canada), and the crowd went berserk for him, he even mentioned that he's never gotten such an enthusiastic welcome anywhere outside of the US before.

Sorry should have been more specific -

While hands down the best looking monitor I've seen, and I've seen all of the current ones in the PC/Gaming stores, the Alienware OLEDs have a built in system which you can't really override to prevent the much maligned "OLED Burn in". Burn in happens when a pixel is displaying the same thing for too long a period of time, and it ends up being a ghost image when it changes to a new image. Every 4 hours of use or so, the monitor goes into a "anti burn in" refresh, which lasts 5 or 6 minutes. So ya, pita.

I have several other high end gaming monitors, and at least 2 at each desk or station, so it's NBD to switch, as it gives me a pop up letting me know a "refresh" is coming, but if I was planning on playing say AH or DCS in 2d for longer than 4 hours, I wouldn't use the OLED, especially for an FSO or scenario.

Someone here a while back told me to check out Brave. Very secure browser (just google it), and I've had no issues switching from Chrome and Firefox.

The super widescreen Samsung is indeed badass. If I had just a bit more space I'd try one.

I'm using the 34" Alienware OLED right now, got it for a crazy good deal from Dell Canada, and the OLED while a pita sometimes, looks...amazeballs. Also have a 27 LG 4k/144hz, mounted the both on an over/under stand that clamps to the rear edge of my table.

I know Elf Man, my directory is HUGE for DCS, I had to swap out the dedicated 500mb m.2 I had for a 2 gb as I have every module except a couple of the goofy civilian planes, every map, etc. I had to uninstall a bunch of stuff last year to make room for new modules.

If you aren't using VR DCS will run well on the specs already mentioned. If you plan on doing a lot of multiplayer on busy servers, 64gb ram over 32 can have a large impact.

Have any of you watched the latest SouthPark special that's around 45 or 50 mins long? Panderverse? Essentially it slaughters Kathleen Kennedy and her destruction of Star Wars with the woke agenda. Pretty funny.

Stone and Parker's best work IMO is still the puppet movie, Team America. When it came out our company was doing a ton of work in the Mideast, mainly Jordan, so the timing was great. The puppets are a lot larger than you would think too, there is a "making of" youtube video kicking around, and I was really surprised at the size of the sets/props/puppets. I've always hoped to bump into Alec Baldwin and yell "hey it's the president of the Film Actors Guild", and see if I could goad him into a tantrum.

Flesh and Bone is a great little tune, been playing it while driving and the missus really likes it too. One thing about the LC500 that SUCKS is the stereo/info, I think they made it purposefully bad so that you would just listen to the naturally aspirated v8 howl (and it does, best sounding car I've ever had). So hopefully the new car will do your tunes more justice, but even still, you've got a great album coming. I'll buy it once you have a link.

My favorite perk ride was the 163 - it always always so much fun to do an HQ defense against a bunch of bombers.

There was a map where when one side got close to winning, the losing side's 163 bases were in range of the oncoming enemy bases grabbed, so you could do a quick zip into the middle/combat area between the 2 fighting bases, fly around and fight for 5 or 10 mins in the 163, then toot home. Using a lot of throttle modulation, you could cruise at 250 mph or so easily at low alt, then boost yourself around in fights, then zip home. It was great, I remember flying with Grizz, Kappa, and a couple other Muppets doing that, I still have the film, one of the best fights and times I had in AH. It was a low alt area with a lot of terrain/hills/mountains, and the bases were really close together...such a gas. Way more fun than the 262 IMO, although that was fun often too.

Back when I was doing steroids I gave myself a lot of injections that were IM.

One thing you haven't mentioned is doing a pull back. Once the needle is inserted, you should pull back on the plunger slightly, and check and see if a lot of blood enters the tube part of the injector - this will mean you're inside of a vein with the tip of the needle, which = bad as it'll waste your shot most likely if it goes directly into a vein.

So, insert in a good location, perform pull back, no or only a miniscule amount of blood showing (pull back is only about 1/4 of an inch or so in the size of injector I was using), and if none is seen, let go of the plunger, it'll return to flush on its own, then press the medication in. Depending which muscle, you can also pinch it from as low as possible when inserting the needle.

Once you figure out good spots that you aren't hitting blood vessels/veins at all with, you can dispense with the pull backs IMO, I never had an issue with 100s or not 1000s of injections over the years back when I was young and foolish (more foolish anyway).

Are you a fan of Alexander Nevsky Boroda?

I think Sergei Eisenstein was a great director. Despite his hair.

I think Vanilla Sky is the one popular Tom Cruise film I've never seen. Every time Sluggish mentions it I remind myself to watch it, and always seem to forget to.
