They announced it is being towed after announcing yesterday that it was undamaged. It's hard to know the truth but you can get an idea of things if you put together pieces of information.

When the video came out of one of the drones hitting it portside aft, I knew they were full of shit.

Russian telegram is saying this morning Ivan Khurs was attacked by five instead of three kamikaze boats and that two hit the vessel and that she is severely damaged and at risk of sinking. They go on to further state casualties. 1 officer killed 5 enlisted killed. Two of them… pic.twitter.com/NkWQgFnACk

Like everything, information is information and not necessarily true. I'm pretty certain it was hit by at least one drone though.

Ah, the old, "We can't hide the truth anymore, so we will come halfway clean" thing.

    Meanwhile on the home front.....

This reminds me of a question I have always had in regards to immigrants. If your home country is bad enough to leave, then why stay loyal to that country? Often more loyal than they are to the US.

Glad to see others contributing. I'm simply throwing down random things that I find interesting or at least informational along with a healthy dose of memes for the few who read this thread.

I haven't been following the war much lately, just got back on to look around twitter this morning.

Seems Russia wasn't honest about the drone attack on their ship. At least one made it through.

"Prigozhin will not withdraw Wagner from Bakhmut" - Chernyak, representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense

"These statements were made by him against the background of the fact that he cannot fulfill his promise to capture Bakhmut before May 9"

There's a video going around on twitter with him yelling about ammunition again. Seems to me that it's his private army. Shouldn't he be the one purchasing the ammo for his men?

At the end you can clearly see damage to the prop.

Now official Russian government Twitter accounts openly threaten Georgia.

Seems to me that if you own a PMC, it's on you to provide the ammo for your troops. Not the entity you are contracted to fight for (unless of course it's part of the contract).

I vaguely remember from early in my career that they were moving away from the requirement to fight a two front war. At the time the USSR had fallen and China wasn't seen as a serious threat. I think for awhile it was assumed that we would only be involved in skirmishes in 3rd world countries.

You'd think they would put some bars on their windows or something. Important people keep falling out of them.

Remember these statements from last year? How's it going for them?

I have seen a lot of Rashists talking about war on the ground over here. It shows you how little the average person knows about warfare. No country on this planet has the sealift capacity to get troops over here for a surprise invasion. The only reason we were able to be effective in Europe is because we could spend years massing troops and equipment in Europe.
