Honest question though. What are these Trucktards even protesting at this point? COVID restrictions are all but gone.

Robot Truckers Could Replace 500K U.S. Jobs Kyle Stock 04:30 PM IST, 19 Mar 2022 04:40 PM IST, 22 Mar 2022 Save (Bloomberg) -- The robots will take the most tedious, most dangerous jobs first, in most things. Trucking is no exception. Autonomous driving engineers are squarely focused on long-haul freight, the interstate runs with almost no complexity save for a slow curve or an E-ZPass lane. A

I mean the point of this 'convoy' is to block traffic and make an ass of themselves, right?

Don't worry Geeg- I'm on it.

Well if that's the case then you should understand how we look at your sides Trump Derangement Syndrome.
That's fair. But there's a big difference between politics and medical science. Generally speaking I trust medical professionals over politically-motivated facebook memes.

This thread is a good example of the anti-vax hysteria and why I find it... unconvincing. There's no common theme here except JAB BAD!
For folks who have already come to that conclusion, I guess it makes sense to find and promote every single anti-vax claim that comes along, no matter how specious or contradictory.
For vaccine-agnostics like myself, it just looks like hysteria.

The further this goes, the more inevitable a nasty reaction from the population becomes. I hope I don't see it in my lifetime... but it's coming. And it'll be utterly stupid, vile, vindictive, destructive... no matter who 'wins'.

The amount of money and power we've allowed to accumulate in the hands of a few powerful people. That's a huge problem in and of itself. No ill intent on their part required.
They inevitably rig the game in their favor. It's just human nature. They inevitably impose all manner of social engineering... neither knowing nor caring how it affects us peasants. They inevitably buy any law or politician they want, and essentially own our government. Our country. Our lives.
How could this possibly be a problem? The Holy Free Market hath spoken!

why not just put it in the water like fluoride?
Far more efficient to put it in the air and call it Omicron.

I don't understand the leftie preoccupation with billionaires and corporations. As if they are some kind of problem.
Make them pay their fair share! As if they don't.
Those billionaires decide who you may vote for. They decide that millions of Americans will get the jab if they want to remain gainfully employed.
Those billionaires decide when our kids will go to war. They decide that Wokey-religion will be a part of every school, HR dept. and teevee show.
Billionaires decided they'd had enough of Trump's shit and decided who would replace him. Now they will decide whether or not WWIII happens
You and I don't have a say in this. Why would anybody imagine this as a problem?

Anyone who thinks the right showed up to our nation's capitol with the objective of overthrowing the government but didn't bring weapons is probably an idiot of the lowest order.
Alternate electors.
Tinyhands fully intended to negate the vote of 80 million Americans. He failed.

Communism bad!
Therefore anything that changes which might possibly help non-billionaires bad!

When people tell me who they are, I tend to believe them.

It's not that RS wants to be controlled. It's just that he has no hope of changing it. And he has fully accepted that no one can ever change it. So he's completely content to go through life on cruise control because he feels none of that really affects him.
Sound pretty close Rank Stranger ?
Close enough. #Grill Pill
I've come to believe that the march of globalism is inevitable. Remember Hillary's speech to Goldman Sachs? A Western Hemisphere of free trade and open borders. And look at the demented clown we chose to oppose them.
At this point I don't think any American politician can credibly oppose globalism without wallowing in the dirty-orange stink of Trump. The Globalists couldn't have picked a more useful face for their opposition.
Hell, a good case can be made that they did in fact pick him.

So in reality you and Toad (and many of us) see the same things. We just perceive it a little differently.
In a lot of areas, yeah. But the cult of Trumpism is a deal breaker for me. One has to be truly ignorant and/or hate their countrymen to put a man like that in office.
-
So you are ok with voting for a party that CLEARLY rigged the primary against the guy you supported.
Twice...
That's one of many reasons why I'm an Independent.
That's not to say I'll ever vote GOP again. Trump has showed their true colors.

Why do you hate your kinfolk?
I hate what the coal industry has done to my kinfolk and the land where they live.
