Putin is a thug and the Russian culture is very much thuggish as well. Same for Xi in China. The only way they respect you is if you deal from a position of strength. Any sign of weakness invites aggression. The logic of sucking up to Putin and being cucked by him isn't going to work out like Trump seem to think. Speaking plain truth is much better for the US in the eyes of the world than sucking up to Russia. No one likes a bully and standing up to bullies is how you win respect from others. Putin is consistently playing Trump and company and bragging about humiliating them. He is doing everything he can to humiliate the US and Trump is playing right into it instead of dealing with the situation with strength and moral authority.

To be totally honest, I would have no problem with people not born of two US Citizen Parents being barred from voting (me being one). The sad reality is North America has been flooded with immigrants specifically to overthrow governments via voting (both legal and illegal). It's been horrifically abused, and has most definitely been the greatest actual factor in the downturn of the US as a nation. In Canada, it's been completely catastrophic, having utterly destroyed what the country once was. Same deal for Europe.
It's the Elephant in the room to be honest, and I would have no problem with such a law because it's an existential threat.
Part of the problem is the "Standing" argument. People aren't effectively allowed to challenge someone's Natural Born Status because just electing an illegal president hasn't actually "wronged" the plaintiff. And thus we're caught in a catch-22 loop. People can't sue to prevent foreign influence, and Natural Born Citizen has never been clarified.
But you did get something wrong. Barack Obama IS a natural born citizen. He's the child of Stanley Ann Dunham, and Frank Marshal Davis. Both US Citizens.
The problem is *not* citizens, or non-citizens never being allowed to vote. The problem is Universal Suffrage. This country was never meant to be a democracy, and will continue to flounder while "everyone" can vote.

The problem is that when you name something new, it becomes legally separate from other terms.
So a Natural Born Citizen is legally something above and beyond normal citizenship. But the problem has never been clarified, or resolved. But they wanted The President to be so beyond reproach and foreign influence.
IMO, if a regular citizen is someone born to a US citizen, then a Natural Born Citizen is someone born to TWO US Citizens. Or something more stringent. Someone born to two blood US citizens, and not naturalized US citizens.
