It could even be a bit of fluff jamming up a cooling fan and sending out an alarm.

Yes. I typically leave it on all the time with phantom power on (the inline cloudlifter preamps for these weak mics are powered by phantom power). It may have gotten hot and went into protect mode.
-
it's dead. I found another on reverb. I really can't afford this right now.
-
Oh shoot. I'm sorry to hear that.
-
What is it that this does that you need that something else can't do? The eight inputs?
-
I use the x32 to track instruments but the ux8 is my main soundcard. I keep it configured for line level stereo to record tapes and records into the daw and still have six mic inputs with phantom. It's also got an instrument jack on the front with access to the full podfarm lineup in case I need to record a quick idea or guide track. I've found that it's really the best way for me to record bass.

They need to be careful with that. If too many people see it they'll start asking Gibson why they haven't been making them that way all along.

These looks pretty neat

I was looking at one a few years ago by (I think) TC Helicon that perhaps didn't have as many features but was better. It required an instrument throughput that allowed you to input your guitar signal (then out to amp or whatever) so the pitch correction and harmonizer would know what key/pitch you're in. The lack of that on this why the harmonizer sounds weird.
Can't even remember what model it was now...

Apologies if this question has been asked before but..
Anyone sold on either Reverb or Sweetwater's used gear site?
I've only done the odd CL or marketpkace deal. I want to list some more premium stuff. It seems that these places may be more effective.
Thoughts?

Yeah, well,
Finding the site's not a problem. Just looking for opinions. Usually, a commodity in ready supply.
My other option is consignment but I really don't wanna fuck with all that.

I have made all my sales except one on Facebook Marketplace. I think the reason is that people who see the ad are not necessarily shopping and you snag the impulse buys.

Na man, that's my store. reverb is awesome. Figure about... 20%? to the man, plus shipping. I use reverb a lot. It's a LOT like eBay, but geared towards gear and electronics. Whatcha got?

This is true. Plus, the fact that the irs is forcing all of these sites to report annual earnings above $600....

This time around I'm trying to find homes for some fairly unique examples that the casual buyer wouldn't consider..
Old Rhodes 88 stage
'80 The Vee, with aftermarket Kahler
Like n.i.b. moog mf-101. No idea how they seem to have appreciated but it's useless to me.
The kind of stuff the right buyer will pay fair money for. But those guys are few and far between. Tons of pikers on CL and Marketplace.

I think reverb is your place.
