Holy crap. That cab is way beyond anything I'd expect a guitar amp to need!
But he's asking a lot of money for those fucking things. Lol.
I was super impressed by what those actual amp circuits look like.

5 watts is plenty. A couple buddies of mine use 5 watt Blackstars and they get over a loud drummer just fine. Of course they're using in-ears and have everything mic'd up volume REALLY isn't an issue.
I think you guys misunderstood what I said. It sounds like my mate's bad cat which was twice as expensive. Forget the 30 watt bit
My current set up uses a 5W Blackstar HT5
What's that tweed thingy?
Artist Tweedtone 20. It sounds nothing like a tweed amp though. It's somewhere in between plexi and JCM. They were 600 dollaridoos when I got mine.
You can get them in the US. A lot of their stuff they can't sell in the states
I want SO BADLY to pull the trigger on the Gremlin amp. Found one used @ guitar center for 899.00. It's the combo, which is what I want.
So do it.
Don't deny yourself.
Let yourself go.

Drop the hammer
I did l. lol.
I called my Sweetwater rep. I never call him, but I asked him for a little off on the turquoise one. I told him that I was going to twist his arm way up behind hi back. lol
I went with a new one.
That's the way. Uh uh.
I expect a full report.
I was playing my telecaster through the '68 custom Princeton Reverb last night - and that's another really great sounding amp. The tremelo is really nice.
I think I used it on our song, Erase the Lines - which every part but the drums is me. I was tying to remember if it was the Helix or the Princeton, but I think it's the princeton that I used.
The 68 custom is a really great amp for the low-volume break up. It's just missing the extra sparking highs of a 65 Princeton. The 68 is voiced with a Bassman sound on one of the inputs. It's a fantastic amp
The gremlin will round out everything that I would ever need. I'm excited!
I was playing around with a slowed down version of our really old song, Lady Strange. And I might do that today using my Tele and the Princeton. Tim mentioned before that we should record that song again. I tried playing is slowed down and I think it could be cool.
anyway... thanks guys!
New RevStar in the house!
This thing sounds fantastic!
Nice!
So we don't shit on GGs thread
Here's the Tweedtone 20
You should play every cut from pet sounds
Worth a punt?
I mean, for $150 how can you go wrong?
