that's exactly right. He's better than he's given credit for. He plays almost ALL the guitars on the Let It Bleed album.

He's also super economical (snicker) listen to measure 3&4 of brown sugar.
Do the same with start me up.
Now I defy you to explain how he hid that.
Cheap bastard.

Tim Pierce has a great setup there. Those aren't amp sims. Those heads behind him are wired to cabs in isolation chambers which are permanently mic'd up and ready to go. I'm probably going to replicate it on a simpler scale...

I can't say I ever thought much of Pearl Jam one way or the other, but this guy does some lovely acoustical stuff

About a hundred years ago there was an indie station in TC that played "alt rock" and they put a song into regular rotation that I kinda obsessed over... This was before shazam and I NEVER did figure out who/what it was. I've tried googling the lyrics I remembered over the years to no avail... So you can imagine my surprise when I started watching Rick Beato's latest video of him rehearsing with his old band and they started playing THE song!!!

Cool song too.

The singer sounds like Todd in our band

It's a little unnecessarily complicated.

Long too.

Yup. Almost six minutes. I'd whittle it down to 4:20ish. I might just do that.

Pretentious cunts

I had forgotten all about this: Sluggo: is your band no more?
