There's times I've answered the door with a leather shoulder holster on, Browning Hi Power in full view. It tends to clear out the roofing solicitors very efficiently.
And it's not like I don't have NO SOLICITING signs out. I have to admit though in the last 3-4 years, nobody comes around anymore. Maybe opening the door open carry style really worked and the word got around. I don't know. Maybe those cock suckers use some app and my place is red flagged.
