The Ibanez I posted is about $650 Aus so I reckon about 500 in the US

I'll probably get something like that. Put some really good pickups in it and maybe some great tuners

Get a banjo and reenact deliverance.

I do live in Australia's equivalent

Huh,
Looks like I'll be acquiring an Ibanez as partial payment fot a neighbor's kitchen remodel. Good looking instrument. Neck feels nice. Probably too refined for my...purposes, but I've never had an archtop so..

At times I see you, you silver rider
Sometimes your voice is not enough
Your face in windows, outside forever
Nobody dreamed you'd save the world
Nobody dreamed you'd save the world
Your march is over, the great destroyer
She passes through you like a knife
Oh take me with you, you silver rider
Sometimes your voice is not enough
Sometimes your voice is not enough

Today in 1969: the 22nd and final day of the Get Back sessions, tracking songs that weren't included in the live rooftop performance. Chief among them: 'Two of Us', 'Let It Be' and 'The Long and Winding Road'.
The last-named song was mostly worked on after lunch - after Paul had mailed Ringo a postcard.
What motivated this is unclear. But, as evidenced in the documentary, Ringo had been his amenable, rock-solid self throughout: never arguing, never causing a take to break down... and always receptive to Paul's drumming directives/suggestions.Brotherly love - which would soon be tested.
