That lion looks so small to me.
pfft... she is on the other side of the moat/divide that they use... the animals won't cross the area because they can't see where they are jumping depth perception thing...it is a tactic used by many zoos to give the illusion of freedom. if she had actually been in the enclosure she was lunch... you could see that lion thinking.... come on over baby.... the problem there though is now the lion does have a reference... so maybe a lion on the loose soon
I love the Bronx zoo...it was ahead of many others when I was there years and years ago... will one day go again..
OP has a point though. Very well might have been a gorolla in the lion's eyes.
I can see the moat now that I looked closer.
