This may explain why the Ukrainians have continued to beat their head against the Robotyne axis. There seems to be credible evidence that Russian units there are straining to hold and reserves have been 100% committed, while I believe Ukraine has its best formations still in reserve. (Something like three, four, or five remaining brigades if memory serves, plus a smattering of Offensive Guard.)

Yes. If it's confirmed that the 56th VDV Regiment is deployed in Robotyne, it might explain why Ukrainians haven't entered the village yet despite the fact that they have been reporting for a while that the 291st Regiment of the 42nd Division and the 1430th Mobilized Regiment, i.e. the two main units deputed to the defense of the village, are very worn out. Ditto for the several BARS detachments deployed in the area. The Russian grouping around Verbove (70th Regiment and 1429th Regiment) has also been in battle for 2 months now and was recently reinforced by the 100th Recoinossance Brigade (it was the last uncommitted 58th Army's formation - their 136th Brigade is in the second line in Staromlynivka); in the junction area between these two groupings they could have sent at least a battalion of the 810th Naval Brigade, which would have been instrumental in repelling the attack of the 118th Mech Brigade in late July (unfortunately it seems to have been quite a fuck up by the Ukrainians).

All of this despite the fact that they could already count on the support of two Spetsnaz GRU brigades deployed in the Orikhiv sector. But it's possible to think that Russia wants to spare these as much as possible, much more than the VDV.

When civilians are surprised at the shooting down of enemy dummies by Lancets and Krasnopols, then this is normal. But when people who served at least urgently are surprised (and even more so ridiculed), then here you can already be surprised yourself.

The Soviet system of military service (and we have morally preserved it) is very simple. Well, the first desire for a military man is to always bang, let's be honest. The more modern and powerful the available weapons, the greater the internal need to shandar them. The category "expensive" in military psychology is not quoted if it is not from your salary.

The second point is reports. You can know for sure that you are hitting the layout, and not the enemy’s technique, you can suspect this, but if the layout as a whole is not bad and suits you for a report, then you hit it and report success to the top. Any Soviet officer (which many people like to announce so much today) would have done just that. Because the army is simple. Because your report about the hit target (and even a fat one) is a joy for you, and for the authorities, and for the authorities of the authorities. But if you give "Hang up" and write a dull report that "the detected target turned out to be false and it seemed inappropriate to hit it because of the need to save precision-guided ammunition," then you will become an asshole for both the authorities and fellow officers. And for all of them you will be "some kind of non-military."

How is this problem solved by the enemy? And they "Western specialists" got control over the target. They did not try to break the established psychotype of the Soviet officer school (Ukrainian officers, especially the older ones, remained Soviet in their psychotype, others have nowhere to come from), they simply took control, removing even the motivation to rivet false reports. A kind of substitution of the military classics for a business approach.

But we're not only hitting wooden models. Now I’ll say a vile and unpopular thing, but let at least one active officer point out that I’m lying: before, and after the appearance of Western military equipment - in general, a very popular way to give a good result upwards is to beautifully fire at the enemy’s already lined equipment. Bradley, zaptured yesterday, today can be beautifully shot from helicopters, and tomorrow you can work on it from self-propelled guns. With video recording, report and the right angles. And this is not one, but three wrecked Bradleys. Since the political leadership demands the necessary report, the General Staff will demand such a report too. And the military will solve it the way they know how - in a military way. I won't list specific examples, but everyone in the army knows perfectly well what I'm talking about. This is not exotic, this is already a mass practice.

Exotica is an order for a service for the design of pictures of photos and videos of fixing fights. You give a familiar performer a video and a photo of a wrecked hoe, you give a task, and they return high-quality pictures to you, where instead of a hoe there is a tank or self-propelled guns, next to which there are several wrecked infantry fighting vehicles.

But in the army itself, no one will ever fight this, and it is stupid to scold the General Staff or the minister. Some external solution is needed. Something similar to how the goals of the Ukrainians are controlled by Western instructors. Because for the military, everything that I mentioned above is, as it were, not a crime, and not even a flight. Zalet is when you were caught on this, but caught in such a way that you could not get out. Passing out the John Deere harvesters as Leopards was, of course, an oversight, but even then they got away. Although this should be punished in triplets, and first of all - for being so stupidly set up that they didn’t even realize such elementary things. And the rest ... The political leadership has its own universe, from which it gives orders and instructions to the military leadership. The military leadership already has its own universe, very different. And it gives instructions down and reports up, based on its vision of the situation. Below - there is generally a harsh reality, but adjusted for military perception. The necessary reports are required from you in the universe of military leadership, and if reality does not fight with it, these are problems of reality. You're an officer, you can.

Well, to the previous one from the unpopular

Who served in the army, he does not laugh in the circus. If it completely shuts down, then our mock-ups of Western technology can begin to be installed instead of crests - this is the reality of our military.

And if we want to win (or even if we just want to not be beaten indecently hard), then the changes must be systemic. It is stupid to expect and demand them from the military. And from the General Staff, and from the minister.

    Here's how it works out..

Once again, let's turn propaganda at an unusual angle, while propaganda turns us around at a familiar angle.

An anecdote is still circulating on the net, how our guys crawl out of the hatch of a Russian tank in Washington, inspect the local ruins and say: "But of course, we lost the information war to them." Unfortunately, this anecdote is almost the only example of our successful propaganda. But in general, everything smells like a tragedy (it smells different, but let's call it a tragedy).

There is one comparison that cost me the loss of a friend who was an officer during my service in Chechnya. This comparison reflects the level of failure in our information policy, which cannot be blocked by anything: neither tanks, nor missiles, nor loot: finding a video with footage of our troops entering Kherson is not a problem. At the same time, there is no problem to see what forces were included there, you can find the results of a clash with local pro-Ukrainians, who were killed in a forest plantation or even a park. And you can look at the reaction of the local population as a whole.

And now do not be too lazy to look for a video from Belgorod, when a miserable handful of modern ROA climbed somewhere on the outskirts of the Belgorod region. All the videos have also been preserved: the people rushed in herds on the run, not even thinking about defense.

This is the best demonstration of the total failure of our information policy. Which, in turn, is the flesh of the flesh of the policy of the state as a whole. Therefore, of course, all the goals of the General Staff were fulfilled and will continue to be fulfilled, but after a year and a half of the war (you heard, I said NVO) the General Staff is also interested in what kind of goals it is that it has been successfully fulfilling all this time.

In the fairy tale “Go there - I don’t know where, bring it - I don’t know what” (there are already 76 Russian versions of this fairy tale, but the essence is the same everywhere) the plot is something like this: Sagittarius, who faithfully served the Tsar, got a beautiful Wife, which the Tsar decided to get himself and therefore decided to get rid of Sagittarius, setting him, as they would say in the General Staff, an inaccurately formulated task without a clear target designation in the absence of guidelines for means and time. As a result, Sagittarius returned, the royal army sent against him could not do anything, Sagittarius slammed the Tsar and began to rule himself.

But this is in a fairy tale, it does not happen in real life, and therefore we will return to the topic of information policy. In contrast to Ukraine, we have always emphasized that there is power and it will take care of everyone. The giraffe is big, he knows better. At the beginning of the war (damn T9, I wanted to recruit NVO) it was said that the army would figure it out, and you, civilians, live as you lived, even deployed volunteers in the first days or weeks. But the soldiers count in the fall, so the fall brought a lot of mobilization (we will not specify what year the fall is - let's add a little mystery to the plot). The exit of our shock groups from Kyiv to Warsaw went through Donetsk, Lugansk, Crimea, Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, etc. with drones flying to Moscow.

And at the same time - "Everything is going according to plan" (c). And so, for example, as a military man, I can quite believe (but only to a senior in rank) that the plan for the uncontrolled fall of Ukrainian UAVs in Moscow twice on the same building - this plan was approved before 02/24/22 and signed by responsible persons . I believe yes. And the people believe. But people - they do not believe. More precisely, they believe, but they doubt so much that they believe in the wrong direction.

And when I hear the next "Let's win, and then we'll figure it out," I immediately turn into Ivan Vasilievich Bunsha with his wise question: "And at whose expense is this banquet?" Moses also didn’t care that the Promised Land didn’t really shine for elderly Jews at the beginning of his campaign, but Moses at least had a plan, the NATO satellite constellation didn’t put a spoke in his wheels, and instead of sanctions, manna was dropped on his head without prepayment.

We need a clear information policy. Urgent, better for yesterday.

And after that, we can talk about attempts to measure IPSO. But not before.

If I had nothing to do with the army, I would immediately pay attention to the huge debts of the exploding Piro-Ross plant, its bankruptcy proceedings and a number of serious commercial (not quite judicial) conflicts around it. And I would look for reasons and entry points exactly there.

But I am a military man, so I believe in the official reason: a violation of the technological chain. And I am proud of our services, which are able to clearly identify the cause, without even dismantling the rubble.

  • Rybar suspects a large Ukrainian attack on Russian seaports in the Black Sea

The trigger: a French reconnaissance airplane

"About the preparation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for mass strikes on the southern territories of Russia

Recently, the command of the naval forces of Ukraine announced the introduction of no-navigation zones in the Russian ports of Taman , Tuapse , Anapa , Novorossiysk , Gelendzhik and Sochi . But not immediately, but from August 23 , calling them a risk zone.

The advance publication of such data is part of an information operation aimed at artificially escalating tension in the southern regions of the Russian Federation. In addition, this may create confusion among civilian shipping companies operating in the Black Sea .

At the same time, strikes and attacks not only on warships of the Russian Navy, but also on civilian ships are quite likely. Against the backdrop of the recent attack on the Sig tanker, this is already rather a standard practice of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as part of complex attacks on Russian territories.

This is supported by the increased activity of NATO intelligence. Only today, exactly after the drone raid , at least six aircraft and UAVs operated in the air over the Black Sea zone.

The flight of the French E-3F aircraft, which is a harbinger of future attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, looks especially curious. He operated in a completely new area - in the southeastern part of the Black Sea off the coast of the Krasnodar Territory at a distance of less than 190 km .

Also now, about 110 kilometers south of Crimea, the British RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft is working together with the American RQ-4B drone. Judging by the proximity to the Crimea, as well as the danger zone introduced near the Black Sea ports, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are planning a massive combined attack, and today's attack is an assessment of the defense of Crimea."

They are unable to even reach a first line of Russian defense. Losses by modest estimates are 10:1. Hohols keep dying trying to attack with numerical minority. Mine fields, artillery, etc.

OTOH hohols declared evacuation from Kupyansk and about 30 settlements in Khar'kov oblast'.
