Why do people like The Smiths and Morrissey?

    I was in the grocery store this morning and a Smitha song came on. I swear those songs are so god-awful. Morrissey is a horrible singer. I mean fucking horrible.


    Don't get what people like about them at all.


    Several years ago I was reading about the song girlfriend in a comaI think that's what it was. There was a forum where they were talking about how great it was. How fantastic the lyrics were. How biting humorous. How super clever.


    I think it's absolute shit and everything they've done is absolute shit. Everything he sings is absolute shit.


    Other than that I guess he's all right.
