For a beater to just to drive back and forth to work I can buy a used Toyota Camry at half that price. To my eyes, even $35k is too fucking much for a second vehicle

If you are going to have an electric car, it has to be a Tesla, they are heads and shoulders above all the rest. That said, I'm not paying $70,000 for my second car

You can't go past a little shitbox for getting around in. I bought a low mileage 2012 Hyundai i30 for a couple of grand last time and it's been the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned.

I don't know. A big part of the cars I have are that I like the car and I feel comfortable in it. I really hate little fucking shit box cars. And I wouldn't want to drive back and forth to work in a little tiny shit box.

I like my explorer. It's comfortable and I like it. I don't mind paying more to drive it.
