Well I would have struggled in my younger years there. I did a roof tilers apprentiship when I finished school.

What I noticed about AZ traveling back and forth from Phoenix and Florence, was there'd be 40 miles of NOTHING, then 50 nice houses crammed so close together you couldn't even get your car in your backyard

Someone posted a video on X with the comment "What is happening here??" Out of curiosity I watched as two kids were horribly electrocuted while goofing around at a train station in chicago. They were sitting, posing on the tracks for photos when one leaned back and touched the third rail. It was absolutely horrific and I switched away as quickly as I could. However, the image has been bothering me ever since. Talking to my wife about it I was shocked (heh) again by the fact that she was unaware of the danger of (or even the existence of) the third rail. I bet a LOT of people no longer have knowledge like this. We're really becoming dumber and dumber. Also, it seems like with today's tech that the third rail would be a thing of the past.

I wouldn't know about that. I've never been around trains.

I've never seen place it like that. I've seen places where houses are crammed together pretty close though.
But Arizona is pretty damn big. A lot of those outlying areas have cheap houses crammed together.
And then there's areas like where I live where there are size lots. The house I grew up in was a half an acre here every house in the neighborhood was that big and it was horse property
Typical houses are just like most places I would imagine. Pretty big yards RV parking big backyards, etc.
In North Scottsdale close to where I lived they really do a great job of camouflaging the housing out in the desert too. They try not to disturb the look of the desert. So you can look out and everything kind of blends in and is very well done. It's nice and clean and classy.
If I had the money I would move back there. I really like North Phoenix North Scottsdale carefree cave Creek all that stuff out there.

Arizona is also very sparsely populated. There's only really two major population areas. One is the Phoenix metropolitan area and the other is Tucson. And Tucson isn't anywhere near as big as Phoenix.
Then you got smaller towns scattered around. Some really beautiful areas. I would think the next biggest city would be Flagstaff. Tiny.

Years ago we attended the wake of a sibling of a close friend. The guy was electrocuted while working in water and a drop cord light. The departed's wife commented as to what a shock the ordeal had been. My wife slammed her knee hard into my thigh. She knew.

They're being dropped off in San Diego neighborhoods now Just dumped on the street.
Since Texas cracked down, they're coming through California at an increased rate.
