Bill Bur's got a new special on netflix that I think I'll watch tonight. I can't believe they haven't figured out a way to shut him up yet. I guess he and Chappel are the tokens... "look, we're very tolerant..." But anyways...
It must be tough starting out as a comedian... No one knows your schtick and no one's told everyone that you're funny yet.. Plus, on another level.. different people like different kinds of comedy.. some like slap stick.. others like observational, more intellectual comedy.. Very few people totally enjoy ALL kinds of comedy. So if you're in a smaller niche, say... juggler with props... There's a good possibility that a majority of your audience may be indifferent to or even dislike your act... Anyhow, I think comics today are the philosophers of our time. They're probably among the smartest in our society. As long as they agree with me.
