Well, not yet.
Since I sold my Les Paul I've been needing something with humbuckers at it. I think I've settled on the Yamaha RevStar. Only is it a gorgeous guitar but it looks super well made. Even the entry model, the element is very very good.
I might step up to the standard model though because it has stainless steel frets.
They're 800 bucks. I said I didn't want to spend any money but I might make an exception for this guitar.
Get the one that's blue with the white racing stripe on it.
Two things I like about the standard model and the pro model over the element is that they have a separate maple top. Plus the steel frets and carbon reinforced necks. I would say these guitars are worth way more than what they are asking for them. Another Yamaha classic along the lines of the SG models in the 1980s.
They model the look of these, or at least the paint schemes after cafe racing bikes.
