Well respected man about town doing the best things most conservatively

  • Canada's in a very weird spot - it's like a concrete wall has been erected between the established middle & upper classes, and younger people starting off + everyone else (hindoos/dindoos/china-men/mozzies).

So if you're over 40 and own a home, life is tough... sure, but you got the house and can scrape by - plus the value of your home is exponentially gaining in value. The way it stands, you'll be rich some day relatively speaking and so long as you can make your payments, you're set.

If you're under 40 and never got around to owning a home... we'll, you're totally fucked now and it's almost surely never going to happen for you - well, unless you inherit a home.

If you're any kind of newcomer or immigrant, or a young person without real estate owning parents that you have dibs on, you are royally fucked forever - born into the serf class.

Now, as time goes on, the older established folks will dramatically shrink in number, and the have nots will explode to become the majority (in particular chinamen and hindus). Canada is a parliamentary democracy without a real bill of rights or real constitution. They can make any laws they want by simple majority, so it's bound to be a fucking bloodbath one day (Zimbabwe style land grabbing).

Can it be fixed ? Sure, if they can elect a hard conservative who will cut all the carbon taxes and GST and dramatically lower federal, provincial and business taxes. Also, drill the fuck out of all the oil they can and slash all the bullshit regulation and red tape (you guys who have shipped to Canada know exactly what I'm talking about). If it's a financially attractive place it will boom with all it's natural resources.

There's a LOT of people who need to be coerced to leave though. If like becomes brutal for the next few years (it is on track), a lot of those people will leave on their own accord. They have no ties to Canada anyways.

  • If only they would give away more handouts to billionaires...

  • 3:35 time mark.
