Audio Book Narration

That's a pretty cool job, I could never do it because I get all mumbledefuck when I read out loud.
-
Me too.... I have about five hours into each hour of finished product.
-
I've pondered listening to audio books, was always afraid the intent of the words would be skewed

The author always listens to and approves the narration. Most times, if it's a book by someone famous, they narrate themselves.

I love it! You have such a great voice for doing things like this. And for being a DJ!
-
Thank you!
-
I agree with Gina, you have a voice made for these things.
-
I would totally buy audio books if Tom Waits narrated them
-
How long does it take to make an audiobook like that?
-
I don't like to work more than two hours at a time (voice consistency). Five hours of production per finished hour... it'll take me a week or so to do a two hour book.

That's great!
-
I wonder if they would appreciate me narrating like a hoser, eh.

start weaving in and out of French too. lol. To add a sense of sophistication.
-
H'ok you guyz, now we gonna reads Wuthering Heights, tabarnac, by some fucking guy, eh.
-
Chapter Two would be Storch, laying into the JOO's, then Chapter Three would be boganized by Phatzo. I think it would work well.
-
I would talk like the Goalie in SLap Shot.

BTW one of my uncles was very good friends with that guy. Like drinking buddies. I met him once.
