The 8 year old should not be a problem to keep interested. The 7 year old has the attention span of a gnat at times.

It looks like that's a decent guitar which is very important. A lot of people think that they should get their kids a really cheap guitar to learn on but that's not always the case because they are hard to play even for players that know how to play.

We have 2 of her dad's Blue ridge and 2 Martins kicking around here someplace. If the 20 year old gets her shit together she has her pick.

Not sure what a Blue ridge is, but ANY Martin is going to be a top guitar. Probably worth some bucks too.
