Mine is an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8 core. I have no idea what generation that is but it plays anything I ask it to and does it well.

It's fine. I have one of those too and it works an RTX 3070 mercilessly. I also have a Ryzen 7 5800X and can't say I can tell the difference. Both are faster than 9th gen Intel.
That 5800X3D keeps calling my name though. If only I could get my wife to trim those trees.

I don't even see mine in that chart.
-
There's more than one chart. It's in some of those.
-
For single thread processing the 9th gen i7 is about 10% faster than a Ryzen 7 3800X. For multi-thread the Ryzen is faster.
-
What does it all mean??
-
Nothing. Like tears in the rain.
-
That figures.
-
Why exactly?
-
I figured you were being flippant and I responded accordingly. If "why does it matter" is a serious question I will answer seriously.
-
I'll answer seriously regardless.
It's all about frame rate. The faster the machine the faster the frame rate. The faster the frame rate the more realistic the game/sim feels.

EVGA Abandons the GPU Market, Reportedly Citing Conflicts With Nvidia
Wow, this is big news.
No Sluggo, I don't know what it means but it certainly means something.

If I owned stock in Nvidia I'd be thinking of selling.
-
EVGA is the biggest seller of Nvidia cards. Billion$
What made them decide to stop? Could this just be a negotiation tactic?
-
EVGA made some really good video cards.
