What did you have, a 500 gig drive? Even if it is a one TB, I would buy another drive and order to clone the one you have as it exists right now before I did that
-
This is my laptop. I'm not upgrading my DAW computer until they force me to. This has got a 250 gb and a 1 tb. This has got a few important files and folders on it but nothing I can't backup beforehand. I do need ONE app to work consistently and reliably (mixer app for live mixing)...

I love windows 11
-
That's what I wanted to hear. Have you seen any app/driver issues?
-
None whatsoever.
-
There's HAVING a new version of Windows and GETTING a new version of Windows. Even the Dell factory gave up the upgrade process from 7 to 10
-
But windows upgrade from 10 to 11 has been going on for years and I don't hear of issues. I never has an issue. The system checks for compatibility before you're even offered an upgrade.
-
Right. I've been waiting for this notification. My desktop in the studio became eligible quite a while ago but I can't risk that one going down. I've got two other laptops that I can use if I fuck this one up...

I don't think that will be necessary.
-
Fire insurance usually isn't necessary
-
That was pretty painless. Can't really tell that much difference..
-
That's what I wanted to hear. Have you seen any app/driver issues?
None on my end. I've been running Windows 11 for well over a year now.

I fear change!

A month in and I can't get used to the power button not being in the corner anymore...

Windows 11?
I think there's a way to move it back to the left if you want.
