So far government coordinated censorship has worked reasonably well for them. We may yet slide further down that path.

I'm telling you, it's a major major thing with them - all forms of encryption. They want direct access to every last thing you have. They want it to be terrorism/felony to encrypt anything whatsoever.
I should add - encrypt anything WITHOUT them having a master key to unencrypt it.

It turns out we are. Internal emails from Amazon released by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) show that the Biden administration pressured the company to censor books the administration had deemed “propaganda” and "misinformation." The New York Post reports:
