So here we are again. A court of cowards and morons are likely going to judge on Presidential Immunity on a binary. Yes, or No. Previously the only way they could make a smart decision (Roe v. Wade overturned) was 50 years of people spoon feeding them what the constitution actually said.
If Presidents aren't immune, that means that Joe Biden is opening himself up to 8,000,000 (and counting) cases of Human Trafficking. I think several million of those were children, which itself carries the death penalty as an option. Barack Obama outright murdered several Americans in a drone strike.
But if Presidents are immune, then that means there's no recourse to anything they do. Nothing to be done about their criminality and destroyed lives.
The solution was always there. Blame the lack of an education for everyone (especially Supreme Court justices) for not seeing it. Impeachment. A successfully prosecuted impeachment is NOT a criminal conviction. It is, however, a legal process. The punishment for a successful impeachment can go up to removal from office. But what this really means is that it's a formal declaration that Impeached Person X with "Office of Y" is removed from all protections of "Office Y." Suddenly, there is no immunity. Because that person is not Y anymore.
It never says that impeachment can only be done on sitting office holders. So if you want someone to not be immune, then impeach them. Even after they leave office. They won't be sent to jail from that impeachment process. They'll merely be told that they are no longer protected for the things they've done.
But of course this only applies to a system of moral and righteous people. The man that lauds the Hamas Terrorist Sympathizers just had those sympathizers arrested when they showed up to his house. He decided not to enforce his legal obligation to hold an impeachment trial.
Which ultimately gets to the point that it wasn't a single straw that broke the camel's back. This will just be another stone on the pile squeezing out the camel's juices at the bottom.
