Reentry wasn’t bad either. They still have some work to do on the heat shielding around the fin joints. There was some burn through again.

The launch was supposed to be postponed until the end of November because the illegitimate regime weaponized the FAA against Musk. He called them on it, and congress got involved. FAA was forced to cave and let him launch.
They were toying with outlawing civilian flight above an arbitrary altitude, because public safety.
They're galvanizing secession.
What's the purpose with catching it in the arms?
Just seems like a completely secondary item to break upon landing failure.
California is also fucking with SpaceX and thinking about not letting them launch here .

Hanging it is easier than getting it to set down level on the landing gear. I think.

Good. All launches belong in Florida. I’m not even sure why Musk chose Texas for Starbase. The FAA and the environmentalists wouldn’t have had an argument in a place where space launches have been happening since the late 50’s

They do say that they expect 100 lanuches in 2025. Up from about 60 this year.
Vandenburg launces A LOT of stuff - a lot military. It because of their location and how they put stuff in polar orbit/stationary rather than east-west. out of Cape Canaveral
It's amazing what you can get done if failure is going to cost you a lot of money.
