For me, flying around looking at the scenery is very therapeutic, so there. I guess I'm a fag.

and bombing toolsheds

Believe it or not, before they dumbed down the bombsite, it was MUCH easier to take out CV.

I have a thread over on that aces high Forum about how do you run your squad. And I was just tongue and cheeking being goofy. Saying that we run the thing very strictly and all that.
And then I suggested that all the squadron leaders get together and that we should form a subforum over there on aces high and that I would be the supreme Commander of all the squadrons.

That sounds like fun. How many think you're serious?
-
Initially one of the people thought I was serious. But they know I'm joking now. Lol

But that's gay
I'm practicing against the AI right now but my gunnery kinda sucks. No, it actually does suck. lol
I'm not sure it will be possible to takeoff in the 109 w/o rudder pedals. I need to steer with my brakes during the first portion of my takeoff run and having the brakes mapped to a hat switch causes the brakes to be fully activated as soon as the hat switch activates. If they were mapped to an axis I could apply the brakes gradually.
I thought about mapping them to the twisty portion of my stick but then what would I do for a rudder?
-
That could have been a fun troll!
-
This is what keeps happening during takeoff runs. I need rudder pedals but its not in the budget.

Ground LOOP. Ground Loop. Not a loup.
Take off with less than full power. Not as much P factor. If you have enough runway, use half power and see if that helps. Full right aileron might help a little when you get some airspeed but it won't do much.
-
I know Toad, Loup was for Sluggo. And yes, I grinned like an idiot as I changed it from loop to loup.

Ha!

I have the left/right wheelbrakes mapped to a hat switch but they need to be mapped to an axis. I don't have a suitable axis available on my HOTAS and I don't own rudder pedals.
What's happening is this, every time I tap the right wheel brake it's applying full brake momentarily instead of a gradual application like when you're stopping your car. At some point full brake always ends up being to much and you can see the effect in the video.
I'm not at full power either, in fact I only had the power setting high enough for takeoff for a couple of seconds. RPMs need to be about 2300 for successful takeoff. At some point during the takeoff run I should be able to switch to the rudder for steering but I always forget to try. lol

I think that my Oculus headset has arrived. I'll be messing with that over the weekend for sure.

Watching elphie's and iron's videos I need to break down and get a trackir.

I think the pro clip is about $140. It is IMO a game changer.

coddamnit makes wish I had a rig to run it.

Fuck! That's awesome!
I need to fly where you go and fly what you fly. That's great.
