The cost and availability of non-ethanol fuel is an issue but there is a simple workaround.
Thanks for that. Never needed to do it but it does make perfect sense and it's easy. May come in handy sometime.

How long before they start putting dye in it?
Yep. just like the "offroad" diesel. Which we have in our little town, even though I don't understand why. It says right on it for Ag and off road use only.
Lewiston isn't what you'd call a farming town.
here's a picture of the deck, sorry my finger is in the way.
Wow that's nice!
I've never used a chainsaw before. How are they for cuts like that do they cut cleanly?
We have a long pole electric chainsaw that is powered by a cord. it is "OK" and fine for small limb removal. I like that it is lighter and does not require gas every time I want to use it. I use one so infrequently that a gas model isn't really good as the gas would "spoil" between uses. The electric one I just clean up a bit and put away.
I don't give a crap about it being "green", it is just more convenient and cheaper for us.

well I didn't use it for any cuts that needed to be precise and pretty, mostly cutting the posts off and things under the deck. But it does make surprising clean cuts long as you're careful.
Cordless are too expensive still for me. I do have the Ego string trimmer and blower and they are really good for me. I have had them over 3 years.
I have this:

I had a Black and Decker that quit on me after just 25 years. Before that all gas and all trouble all the time.
