why I hate about california

    we support a lot of the southern states, except of texas and florida, texas depends on oil and florida depends on leftists coming from other states. the rest of the south depend on federal goverment for somewhere between 40 to 60 percent of your budget. you call us commies and lefties but then again at budget time you come to the federal goverment like oliver twist, please sir can i have some more. in california we get 1 dollar back for every 3 we send to you. and yet we are the socialist when most of the south are the socialist. when you cant support yourselves.

    Florida is the biggest scam. There is not a single good thing about the place, yet damn Yankees seem to flock there ( making it even worse). Most of the state is a wretched swamp with temps in the high 90's,100% humidity, and meth labs run by inbred jed and his sister/mom/wife. The other 10% that you see in pictures only millionaires/billionaires can afford to live in.

    I have lived in north carolina charlotte, was told our taxes would go down, was told the car registration was only 20 bucks a year. well I got screwed, however I dont complain, while my state taxes went up 10 times and the car registration was only 20 bucks, I did have to pay a road tax which was higher than what I paid in california for registration, however my health insurance went down. so it kind of everything made it even. those states that have no state taxes, trust me they make it up in other ways, kind of like the road tax. I do miss the insurance in charlote 80 bucks for 2 cars, 2 drivers. but food was more expensive. and the stupid little things like no alcohol before 12 oclock on sundays, that 1 and 1/2 mile to south carolina to buy alcohol on sundays was a killer. or the dry counties in south carolina, that damn 4 mile trip to get to the next county was also a killer. 1 sunday we drove almost to the southern border of south carolina to norther border of north carolina and got home by 5 oclock. lots of fun. but what can i say. i have 3 liquor stores, about 20 restaurants 5 gas station 2 supermarkets, 1 711. all within 3 blocks of my house, here in california.


    only thing that bugs me is I can order food, drugs, alcohol, but state law prohibits delivering of cigarettes, oh the inhumanity.

    what ever came of that straw thing. I think it was specifically plastic straws. Maybe even just LA. I forget.

    I never did not get a straw, but I got a few "paper" ones - and those are shit. They stick to your mouth and feel like crap.


    I have a couple of stainless steel straws that I've had for a long time. I use them when I make smoothies. Nothing like a nice cold straw to go with the shake or smoothie. Feels luxurious. lol

    Yeah really shitty. But what happened to that law? I need to look that up. I remember there was a thing about it but then it was over really quickly and I don't remember never getting a straw. Lol.


    What about the plastic bag ban at grocery stores? It's complete bullshit because they still have plastic bags but now you just have to pay for them. Such horseshit.


    And I remember there's a lot of people that won't pay for the bags. Lol I'll pay the $0.05 or whatever the hell for the two bags I need. In principle it really pisses me off but in practice it doesn't affect me very much.

    well the bags you can reuse them. I got like 300 of them in case you need one. I am for recycling, just forget to bring bags, but then again I always reused the old one for trash and stuff. only thing I hate is having to tell the bag boy/girl is dont mix meat with vegetables in the same bag.
