Why must you be like that?
Songs that drive you crazy. Songs that suck.

Please don't, it stinks and draws flies.

Why must you be like that?
I happen to like that song. That one and "Welcome to the Jungle" are their only two good songs imo.

all of it is shit

All of it

The second half of Rocket Queen is some of the best pop/rock ever committed to tape.

Everything they did sucked. Lol!

Lots of music tends to annoy me. Pretty much anything from elton john. Very repetitive. As soon as I hear the opening to rocket man I shut the radio off. I also dislike the later years of the beatles. Once they went "psychedelic" I lost interest in them. Most of the jackson 5 / michael jackson I don't care for. The local radio tends to play purple rain on the weekends and I shut off that repetitive nonsense as well.
I really dislike what is passed of as "country western" music. I hate the twangy vocals. I do like some "country" music and some "western" music ie Sons of the Pioneers kind of stuff.
I still like most of the 50's 60's and some early 70's rock. I just grew up listening to it. My tastes also run to some jazz, some classic and even some "new age" stuff.
I don't apologize for it, it's just my preference. I don't expect others to like it and don't force it on them. Heck my only "stereo" is my PC and some MP3 players I use when working out or working.

I feel the same way, Maverick. A lot of those same songs and music styles also. Lol.
I can't stand southern rock. Repetitive blues.
Like Free Bird or any of that stuff I can't stand. It's just great musicianship but repetitive boring long ass songs. Or give me three steps just boring over and over the same underlying music. Predictable. I don't like any of it.
I also get super annoyed basically with classic rock music stations. Only because I've heard those songs so many times I think. But the songs aren't interesting anymore. Like you try to listen to a radio station with classic rock and you get AC/DC Pat benatar and a bunch of crap I want to forget. Hahaha!
In the mornings I've taken to listening to classical music on my desktop radio that I have on My end table. The little radio sounds great and I put the volume down so that it's just sort of in the background and not grating. I can appreciate that music.
I do like music though. Just a lot of things I do not like.

It's jazz for me.
-
Cool jazz
-
Classic and improv.
-
Brubeck and Desmond.
-
Mulligan. Chet Baker. The other west coast junkies.
Sketches of Spain.
Shit like that.
-
Having typed that. Occasionally I'll play it.

Chet Baker was an interesting character. He maintained his drug addiction throughout his entire life. I've always wondered who the girl on the cover of Chet was...

1959 was a great year.
