I believe that we need to fundamentally rework how our society operates and functions.
Americans are entitled and gluttons.
Why do individuals need their own houses? It's extremely wasteful to have an individual living in a house and taking up space and land and resources. We need to phase out individual home ownership. The way we do that is to make home ownership prohibitively expensive through taxes and penalties.
And why does everybody need their own vehicle? America is the only country in the world that primarily gets around in individually owned vehicles. We need to be more like Europe. The answer is trains and buses. There's no excuse for hopping in your car in the morning and traveling to your job by yourself in your own vehicle.
America produces about 20% of the world's greenhouse gases. It's high time that we evaluate our gluttonous lifestyle. This starts with education in the schools.
We need to bring up a new generation of Americans who are humble and frugal.
In Asian countries it's common for large families to live together. Even multiple families.
There are too many Americans making too much money. The wealth distribution is a travesty that needs to be corrected. The rich are getting richer off the backs of poor minorities.
Primarily white Americans have an unfair access to education. They excel in public schools mainly because of racially biased and Old fashioned methods of education.
Air conditioning is a wasteful and unnecessary luxury that we can ill afford. In Europe, only about 5% of households have central air conditioning. In the United States roughly 95% have air conditioning.
People got along well for thousands of years without air conditioning. It's not needed and extremely wasteful and harmful to the environment.
Probably the number one problem with this country is that most Americans blindly think that they are entitled to the fruits of their own labor. We have an infrastructure that was built by the many and exploited by the few. As Obama said, you own a business and you use public transportation and public utilities. You didn't build that.
The supreme Court is a perfect illustration of what is wrong with america. It's been hijacked and packed with extremists and constitutional literalists.
The Constitution is a living and breathing document meant to change with the times. And the times are a change in my friends.
It's time to buckle down and to be responsible. We are acting like spoiled teenagers.
