His phlebotomist is truly gifted. Never feel a thing.
Dr. Partin, I believe. Surprisingly sharp guy....for an M.D.

It's not that I feel anything when they do it. I just have that reaction where I faint pass out get sick and all that stuff.
But it hasn't happened in a while because they come to take the blood and the doctor's room for me instead of me having to go to the lab.
And also I put my headphones on and blast music and tell them to tap me when they're done so that I don't think about what they're doing and I don't hear the fucking little vials and all that shit that makes me have the reaction

I have it worked out with all the docs I see that I get lab orders then go to the hospital outpatient facility and get labs done there. The vampires always get what they need on the first stick and almost always pain free. Now the times I had to go for colonoscopies or surgeries is another issue. After about 7 to 8 of them, my veins started to roll, collapse or just freaking run away. They seem to have a notation in my records and now automatically go for a pediatric butterfly needle. They still need at least 3 to 6 sticks to get it done. Always digging around too. So far I am up to 16 surgeries and I stopped counting the upscopes at 5. Fortunately now on the 5 year plan for those.
You could make four or five big sturdy men out of the blood they've siphoned from me.

That's one of the things I liked about it. That's why I took the picture. I liked how everything was blue- gray.

The other thing is called a vasovegal syncope. I once fasted for 16 hours before labs and passed out in the chair. I never really cared for needles anyway.
Lighting is everything. The other day I was out walking the dog after a rain. In the morning. Beautiful lighting. Things looked illuminated.
